Job Summary
The Development Associate is an integral member of the Library Foundation team. This position will assume responsibility for generating philanthropic support for the San Diego Public Library Foundation from major gifts, annual gifts, corporate and foundation gifts, and planned gifts. Reporting to the Major and Planned Gifts Director, this person works closely with the entire SDPLF team to implement the organization's targeted fundraising strategies.

San Diego Public Library Foundation: Executive Assistant (full time)

Job Summary
The Executive Assistant is an integral member of the Library Foundation team. In addition to providing critical administrative support to the CEO, this position will assume responsibility for a wide variety of special projects on behalf of the CEO and Directors, including attendance at board meetings and other sessions to take minutes, preparing board packets and other materials, researching and analyzing data, and developing reports for management decision-making. In sum, this position involves complex and demanding communications and project management for the CEO, and ensures efficient day-to-day operations within the office.

SD Opera: Corporate Development Director

Job Summary
Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, the Corporate Development Director is responsible for fundraising efforts - cultivation, solicitation and benefits facilitation- in the Corporate area, working from a portfolio of prospects and corporate members. In addition, this person is responsible for "Affinity Night" events, including recruiting and working with committees, managing the lists in the Opera's Tessitura database and planning and coordinating the events. The position serves as a key member of the development team and is critical to overall fundraising success of San Diego Opera.
