Catholic Relief Services: Planned Giving Development Officer

Job Summary
Working in coordination with and under the supervision of the Director of Planned Giving, the Planned Giving Development Officer will identify, cultivate, solicit and steward planned gifts and gift intentions from CRS donors. The PGDO will collaborate with RDDs, as needed, to support the solicitation of planned gift intentions and outright planned gifts from major donors. Finally, the PGDO is also responsible for expanding CRS' Professional Advisor network in the West.

SD Opera: Special Events/Development Manager

Job Summary
Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, the Special Events/Development Manager handles the planning, coordination, and execution of all Special Events for San Diego Opera including fundraisers, donor benefit, stewardship and cultivation events, and pre- and post- performance events. KPBS: Director of Major and Strategic Gifts

Job Summary
This newly created position will play a leadership role as KPBS embarks on several campaigns that will lay the foundation for the organization's future success. The campaigns will focus on capital improvements related to facilities and technology, endowment and sustainability, estate and planned gifts.

The position will report to the Associate General Manager for Development and Grants and work closely with the General Manager as an innovative and progressive leader in public media. The ideal candidate for this position will be a highly motivated, experienced and strategic fundraising professional with campaign experience.

The Director of Major and Strategic Gifts will be involved in all aspects of major gift fundraising for the Station. Primary responsibilities include raising major funds for the capital campaign and annual support. The Director of Major and Strategic Gifts will identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of major gift donors and new prospects. The position will share in the financial goals of the Major Gifts team and will mentor, coach and ultimately supervise some major gifts staff.

San Diego Public Library Foundation: Development Associate (full time)

San Diego Public Library Foundation: Executive Assistant (full time)

Job Summary
The Executive Assistant is an integral member of the Library Foundation team. In addition to providing critical administrative support to the CEO, this position will assume responsibility for a wide variety of special projects on behalf of the CEO and Directors, including attendance at board meetings and other sessions to take minutes, preparing board packets and other materials, researching and analyzing data, and developing reports for management decision-making. In sum, this position involves complex and demanding communications and project management for the CEO, and ensures efficient day-to-day operations within the office.

San Diego Public Library Foundation: Development Assistant (full time)

Job Summary
The San Diego Public Library Foundation supports the San Diego Public Library system in providing free and open access to information, materials and other resources for our residents. This includes innovative programming, events and facilities, including youth centers, cultural events such as concerts and films, and technical resources, such as our 3-D printing lab. The Foundation supports the entire system of 36 library branches across the City of San Diego. Our team of 11 staff members is based at the new downtown Central Library @ Joan Ë Irwin Jacobs Common. The Development Assistant supports the Database Specialist with data entry and database reports within the Raiser’s Edge database and the entire San Diego Public Library Foundation team to achieve fundraising goals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA): Regional Gift Planner for Southern California and Hawaii

Job Summary
The Regional Gift Planner is responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting and securing new and ongoing gifts from individuals in support of churchwide ministries, congregations, synods and related ELCA ministries. The Gift Planner works in partnership with synods, ELCA related organizations and institutions to expand the network of prospective donors and increase support for all Lutheran ministries.

Reporting to the Director for Planned Giving, this position is part of a nationwide network of eighteen professional Regional Gift Planners. Each Gift Planner lives and works within their assigned territory (home office).
